Hopeful Hope is a free informational seminar for the community presented by Residential Healthcare.

Speakers
Dr. William Kauffman
Dr. William Kauffman is a board-certified physician with a long and distinguished career. He has been a family physician and vice President with UPMC Carlisle, as well as the Medical Director with Residential Hospice and Palliative Care since 2004. In addition, he also teaches at his local church, Carlisle Reformed Presbyterian Church.
Dr. Kauffman has been involved in hospice for over 25 years and has spent a great deal of time working with patients and families as they approach the end of life. He is passionate about people getting the right kind of care at the right time.
Tasha Smith
Tasha started her career as a Personal Care Assistant at The Woods at Cedar Run. Over the years, she has held various positions, including Medication Technician and now Director of Memory Care, where she oversees the care of up to 30 people.
Helping people with dementia is personal for Tasha, having been her grandfather’s primary caregiver. She is a Certified Dementia Practitioner passionate about helping people, especially helping people with dementia experience as much quality of life as possible.
Brian Hennon
Brian Hennon spent over 20 years as a pastor, eight of those right here at Living Water Community Church. In 2017, God took Brian in a much different direction into the hospice field as a Journey Counselor. In that role, he helped people understand the resources available to them as they struggled with life-limiting diseases.
Brian is now the Regional Director of Sales and is passionate about helping people find hope but also about educating people about hospice, which is a very misunderstood but vital service.
