FOCAS
FOCAS exists to build a family of believers who grow together in Christ through discipleship, fellowship, and service to others. We are a community of single adults devoted to deepening our faith through prayer, study, and fellowship, where we seek to live out the gospel of grace through love by using our gifts to serve Christ, each other, and the community around us.
“Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men.” Colossians 3:23
We believe that every season of life, including singleness, is an opportunity to grow in grace and walk in purpose. We encourage one another to serve with joy, love selflessly, and pursue spiritual maturity together as one body in Christ.
“And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works.” Hebrews 10:24
Community Groups
Sunday FOCAS Community Group
The Sunday FOCAS Community Group meets on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month from 1:00–3:00 pm for a time of fellowship, food, and growing together in Christ. Following the example of the early church in Acts 2:46–47, the group gathers around the table to share a meal, build authentic friendships, encourage one another, and study God’s Word.
Currently, the group is walking through the book of Hebrews, exploring what it means to rest fully in the finished work of Christ. Whether you’re brand new or have been connected before, you’ll find a warm welcome, meaningful relationships, and a place to experience true community.
When: 1st & 3rd Sunday Afternoons, 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM
Where: Rutherford (address will be shared when you register for the group)

Tuesday FOCAS Community Group
The Fellowship of Christian Adult Singles (FOCAS) is a community of Christian singles ages 30+ who are committed to growing in their faith while encouraging one another. Meeting online via Zoom on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of each month from 6:30–7:30 pm, this group gathers for Bible study and prayer led by Elder Jim Benna.
While united by their singleness, their greater desire is to focus on serving God and deepening their relationship with Christ as they study His Word, currently walking through the book of Romans. In addition to the online gatherings, the group also enjoys meeting in person once a month for fellowship and activities.
When: 1st & 3rd Tuesday Nights, 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM

Friendsgiving Potluck
Join us for a joyful evening of fellowship, food, and fun at our Friendsgiving Potluck on November 22nd at 4:00 PM in the CRC. Bring your favorite dish to share and gather with friends and family as we celebrate the blessings of community.
The evening will be filled with laughter, games, and plenty of opportunities to connect and give thanks. Come hungry, come ready to play, and most importantly, come ready to celebrate friendship and gratitude!
