FOCAS exists to build a family of believers who grow together in Christ through discipleship, fellowship, and service to others. We are a community of single adults devoted to deepening our faith through prayer, study, and fellowship, where we seek to live out the gospel of grace through love by using our gifts to serve Christ, each other, and the community around us.
“Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men.” Colossians 3:23
We believe that every season of life, including singleness, is an opportunity to grow in grace and walk in purpose. We encourage one another to serve with joy, love selflessly, and pursue spiritual maturity together as one body in Christ.

Community Groups
Sunday FOCAS Community Group
The Sunday FOCAS Community Group meets on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month from 1:00–3:00 pm for a time of fellowship, food, and growing together in Christ. Following the example of the early church in Acts 2:46–47, the group gathers around the table to share a meal, build authentic friendships, encourage one another, and study God’s Word.
Currently, the group is walking through the book of Hebrews, exploring what it means to rest fully in the finished work of Christ. Whether you’re brand new or have been connected before, you’ll find a warm welcome, meaningful relationships, and a place to experience true community.

Tuesday FOCAS Community Group
The Fellowship of Christian Adult Singles (FOCAS) is a community of Christian singles ages 30+ who are committed to growing in their faith while encouraging one another. Meeting online via Zoom on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of each month from 6:30–7:30 pm, this group gathers for Bible study and prayer led by Elder Jim Benna.
While united by their singleness, their greater desire is to focus on serving God and deepening their relationship with Christ as they study His Word, currently walking through the book of Romans. In addition to the online gatherings, the group also enjoys meeting in person once a month for fellowship and activities.

Women’s FOCAS Bible Study Group
The Women’s FOCAS Bible Study Group invites you to join us for a meaningful time of fellowship and spiritual growth as we study Philippians: Jesus Our Joy by Donald Baker.
Together, we’ll explore the book of Philippians and discover how lasting joy is found in Christ, no matter our circumstances. This study is designed to encourage Christian adult singles through Scripture, discussion, and community, offering a place to grow deeper in faith while building authentic connections with one another.
Whether you’re familiar with Philippians or opening it for the first time, you are warmly welcome to be part of this journey.

FOCAS BBQ
Kick off the summer with us at our FOCAS BBQ on Saturday, May 30th, starting at 2:00 PM and going into the evening! We’ll have burgers and hot dogs ready for you, with sign-ups for side dishes and desserts coming soon, so keep an eye out for that.
It’s going to be a great time filled with games, swimming, a bonfire, s’mores, and plenty of space to relax and enjoy meaningful conversation together.

Lake Tobias Trip
Join us on June 6th for a fun day together at Lake Tobias Wildlife Park! Now that the weather is warming up, it’s the perfect time to get outside and enjoy seeing lions, tigers, bears, oh my!
We’ll meet at the church at 9:30 AM and shuttle up together on the church van. The cost is $22 per person, which includes access to the petting zoo and the open-air safari experience. Payment can be made to Brandon via Venmo or cash by May 22nd to reserve your spot.
Food is available for purchase on-site, but you’re also welcome to pack a lunch. We’ve reserved a pavilion where we can gather and eat together. Plan to spend about 3 hours enjoying the park and spending time together!

4th of July Star Barn Trip
Celebrate the 4th of July with us at a fun-filled trip to the Star Barn in Elizabethtown! We’ll meet in the church parking lot at 2:20 PM and travel together in the church van. The cost is $6 per person, and we ask that you please register and pay Brandon by June 14th to secure your spot.
The day will be packed with activities, including yard games, live music, a petting zoo, artisan vendors, and food trucks, along with the chance to explore the historic Star Barn and Ironstone Ranch. We’ll end the evening enjoying a fireworks show at 9 PM, so be sure to bring a lawn chair or blanket and dress comfortably for the weather. It’s a great opportunity to celebrate the holiday together! Feel free to invite a friend or family member to join us!
