FOCAS
FOCAS exists to build a family of believers who grow together in Christ through discipleship, fellowship, and service to others. We are a community of single adults devoted to deepening our faith through prayer, study, and fellowship, where we seek to live out the gospel of grace through love by using our gifts to serve Christ, each other, and the community around us.
“Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men.” Colossians 3:23
We believe that every season of life, including singleness, is an opportunity to grow in grace and walk in purpose. We encourage one another to serve with joy, love selflessly, and pursue spiritual maturity together as one body in Christ.
“And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works.” Hebrews 10:24
Community Groups
Sunday FOCAS Community Group
The Sunday FOCAS Community Group meets on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month from 1:00–3:00 pm for a time of fellowship, food, and growing together in Christ. Following the example of the early church in Acts 2:46–47, the group gathers around the table to share a meal, build authentic friendships, encourage one another, and study God’s Word. Whether you’re new or returning, you’re welcome here. Come hungry for both food and the Word, and experience life in an authentic community.

Singles Only
Tuesday FOCAS Community Group
The Fellowship of Christian Adult Singles (FOCAS) is a community of Christian singles ages 30+ who are committed to growing in their faith while encouraging one another. Meeting online via Zoom on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of each month from 6:30–7:30 pm, this group gathers for Bible study and prayer led by Elder Jim Benna.
While united by their singleness, their greater desire is to focus on serving God and deepening their relationship with Christ as they study His Word, currently walking through the book of Romans. In addition to the online gatherings, the group also enjoys meeting in person once a month for fellowship and activities.

With Young at Heart
Join FOCAS as we come together with Young at Heart for a special afternoon of fellowship at our Joint Picnic on Sunday, September 20th, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM in the CRC at Living Water Community Church.
Come enjoy a delicious meal, meaningful conversation, and a wonderful opportunity to connect with friends both familiar and new. Whether you're a regular part of Young at Heart or FOCAS, this will be a great time to build relationships and enjoy community together. Food will be provided, so just bring yourself and be ready for a fun afternoon!

FOCAS Fall BBQ
Join FOCAS for a fun afternoon of food, fellowship, and fall festivities at the FOCAS Fall BBQ on October 10th, beginning at 2:00 PM at Riley Farm!
Burgers and hot dogs will be provided, and everyone is encouraged to bring a side dish to share. A sign-up sheet with suggested side dishes will be sent out soon, so keep an eye out for more information.

Friendsgiving
Join FOCAS for an evening of food, fellowship, and gratitude at our FOCAS Friendsgiving on November 21st from 4:00–9:00 PM in the CRC!
We’ll enjoy a Thanksgiving-style meal together and spend the evening connecting, laughing, and giving thanks for the community God has given us. A sign-up sheet for side dishes will be available soon, so everyone will have an opportunity to bring something to share.
