Are you interested in getting together with other Christian men to share experiences and to develop meaningful relationships?
The Men’s Ministry has created a new group called Men of Valor. This group is planning quarterly events for the men of Living Water to foster spiritual growth and mentorship.
Appalachian Trail Hiking Trip
We will meet at Living Water at 9:30 AM and make the 20 minute drive to the Table Rock trailhead of the Appalachian Trail near Halifax, PA. From there we will head out together on the 4.1 mile out-and-back trail. It is generally considered an easy route, taking an average of 1 hour and 30 minutes to complete.
Along the way, we will talk about some of the history of the area and get to know one another. A light snack will be provided at the turnaround point. We should be back at the church by 1 PM. Some recommendations for you: Water bottle, sturdy shoes, bug spray, and sunscreen.
If you have any questions, feel free to email Chris Shumaker at firstname.lastname@example.org

Antietam Battlefields Tour
We will meet at Living Water at 8:30 AM with an estimated return at 4:30 PM. Join us as we learn from Karl Bopp about one of the bloodiest battles of the Civil War. We will talk about bravery, courage, and how our belief in God can shape our conduct on and off the battlefield. How can a man "stand like a Stonewall" when chaos and death are all around? There were 20 Medals of Honor awarded at Antietam.
Please bring a snack and a water bottle. We will stop for lunch before returning to LWCC. If you have any questions, feel free to email Chris Shumaker at email@example.com
