BAPTISM PREPARATION CLASS

Saturday, April 12, 2014 - 2-3:30PM

Baptism is a vital milestone in the process of becoming a fully devoted follower of Jesus Christ.  If you have received Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, but have not yet taken the step of obedience by being publicly baptized as a Christ follower, plan to attend this special class which prepares you for our Baptism services on Saturday, May 3rd and Sunday, May 4th.

 

GOOD FRIDAY SERVICE

April 18, 2014 - 7PM

Join us for a special multi-sensory worship experience, as we reflect upon the sacrifice Jesus made on our behalf. This service has been specifically designed for both children and adults. However, nursery will NOT be provided.

 

FINDING DEEPER SATISFACTION WITH GOD

Friday, April 25, 7-9PM

Sisters at the Well presents an evening of worship, fellowship, and study of God’s Word with Lisa Hicks, Missionary to Chaing Mai, Thailand.
Child care is available from 6:45-9:00PM for those that

LIVING WATER LIVE

Bermudian Springs Steel Band

Saturday, April 26, 7:30-9PM

The Bermudian Springs High School Steel Band was established in the fall of 2001 and began performing in the spring of 2002 with a total of 8 members. It has grown over this time to become one of the few for credit, curricular steel bands in the country. The steel band performs traditional calypso and soca music from Trinidad and Tobago, in addition to popular music arranged specifically for the BSHS steel band, many which are arranged by members of the ensemble. The band regularly performs throughout Central Pennsylvania, and has previously performed in Baltimore, Washington, D.C., and Philidelphia in addition to a concert tour of Ohio. 

 

THE ART OF MARRIAGE

The Art of Marriage weaves together expert teaching, real-life stories, humorous vignettes, and more to portray both the challenges and the beauty of God's design. In The Art of Marriage, over 40 ministry leaders provide the expert teaching while couples who have struggled with real-life issues openly and honestly share their stories of pain, loss, forgiveness and grace in six sessions. Do you want to see your marriage look like God intended? Join us.

 

PROPERTY CLEANUP DAY

Saturday, May 3, 2014 8AM-4PM

At least 50 people are needed to help beautify our church property (e.g. spread 12 yards of mulch, cut down trees, chip branches, spread wood chips on walking trail, plant new landscaping, weeding). There will be two shifts – 8am - noon and noon - 4pm.  Sign up at the information counter.

Some of the most memorable worship services at Living Water are our Baptism services.  Join us as we listen to our church family members share testimonies of what God has done in their lives and as we watch them be baptized during our weekend worship services.

 

SOUTH ALLISON HILL 12TH MULTICULTURAL FESTIVAL

Saturday, May 10, 2014 1:30-4PM

Living Water will hand out water and show those in our community the love of Jesus.  This event, which has been attended by up to 1,000 people in past years, is organized by the YWCA each year.  Set up begins at 12PM and teardown will conclude by 5PM.  If you are available to offer an hour or so of your time, please sign up at the information table in the lobby or email Julia at julia@livingwatercc.com.

 

 

AUTOMOBILE REPAIR MINISTRY NEEDS VOLUNTEERS

 Living Water's Automobile repair ministry is preparing to start this coming January. The current plan is to provide this service one Saturday morning per month (8am-noon). We Are currently looking for men and women willing to join the repair team. Prior vehicle repair experience is wonderful, but we are willing to teach people who are willing to learn basic car repair techniques. Please sign up at the information counter. 

 

FOOD PANTRY WEEKEND

Living Water’s food pantry assists families in our church and community with non-perishable foods. Some items are not available through the Food Bank, but are essential to many individuals. As a church family, we have the opportunity to bless those in need through personal donations. Food Pantry Weekend will be the 4th weekend of every month. Things that are currently needed include toilet paper, detergent, and feminine hygiene products. There will be a large container located in the upper lobby to place your donations.
