Community Groups offer a small group environment for fellowship, bible study, prayer, service and care. They foster a relational atmosphere in which friendships with other believers can form as the group continues to meet for an extended period of time. Community Groups, also, are a great place to pursue spiritual growth. Groups meet in homes or at the church, once a week, often during the evening. Many groups select their own curriculum from an approved list while other groups use a sermon-based study.

Currently studying the book Acts: The Spread of the Gospel, by John MacArthur. Luke wrote the book of Acts as a testament to the explosive spread of the gospel and the rapid growth of the church after Christ’s ascension. Beginning with the outpouring of the Holy Spirit on Pentecost when the church was born, he shows how Christ empowered His followers with divine authority to preach the gospel to all nations. Luke also shows how, even in the midst of persecution and opposition, the early believers were able to rely on God’s spirit for direction and continue with the work He had given them to do. God showed His infinite power regardless of the circumstances, just as He continues to do today.
The MacArthur Bible Studies provide intriguing examinations of the whole of Scripture. Each guide incorporates extensive commentary, detailed observations on overriding themes, and probing questions to help you study the Word of God with guidance from John MacArthur.

This is a new group that is forming. They are gearing toward young families. Their first study will be Community Conversation Guide: Starting Well in Your Small Group
Why is community so important to your spiritual life? Because God designed you that way. He wants to use other people to grow you and grow other people through you. The group will start their studies with an 8-session, video-based study called Community. During this time, you'll explore how building deep relationships with the people in your small group and serving in the larger community around you will grow your faith.
